This photo was taken at Llyn Frongoch in close proximity to the village of Trisant, close to the Aberystwyth to Devil’s Bridge road. Frongoch is a fly only lake and is regularly stocked with both brown and rainbow trout. The quality of fish is excellent and boats are available. At Frongoch, Aberystwyth Angling Association have two caravans for hire for visitors wishing to stay in the area and take advantage of the fishing in this small but delightfully situated lake. Admist wonderful upland scenery, close to the Rheidol and Ystwyth valleys, and just twelve miles from the coast at Aberystwyth they represent excellent value for anyone wishing to combine angling with a family holiday.
