There was a bit of a cerfuffle (also spelt kerfuffle) in the leafy avenues of Hampstead recently and it's all about this "field" of wild cornfield flowers.

A small area by one of the paths on the Heath had been planted up with Wild Cornfield Flowers and protected by a low fence. The photograph shows the beautiful result.

The cerfuffle was caused because some friends of Hampstead Heath argued the flowers were not wild because they had been planted by the gardners.
