Coastal Way, Arran, Scotland
Looking out to sea on the Arran Coastal Path.
At North Sannox a forestry track follows the coast until Fallen Rocks where a smaller footpath resumes. The path is generally good, but with some muddy and rocky sections. Recent footpath improvements have created a stepped path through the previously tricky An Scriodan boulder field so that is passable at all states of tide and easier in wet weather. Watch out for Dolphins and Basking Sharks! Beyond An Scriodan, the recently upgraded footpath continues to Netwon Shore and finishes on tarmac as you walk into Lochranza.
