Hay Making
Haymaking for any farm is an important time and is dependant on the weather. When its good enough and the grass is cut it is left to dry and then collected as in this photograph. On some small farms local people still come and help to ensure all the hay is brought in and stored in barns. Here a man and his dog take a rest in the windrows and enjoy the sunshine in the field, Lancing, South Downs, West Sussex. Stock Photo by Paddy Bergin
